Originally from Kerala India, Kappitaan (derived from the Malayalam translation for “Captain”) is a Canadian-Indo partnership founded in 2019. Our platform was built to address the global shortage of frontline healthcare staff. Kappitaan challenges current outdated and tedious healthcare staffing processes by providing a unified platform for sourcing, training, placement & settlement of healthcare professionals and students.

Our primary goal is to empower all students and healthcare professionals around the globe to take charge of their future and steer their ship of dreams to a shore of compassion. By connecting compassionate healthcare workers to opportunities, we aim to fill critical nursing and caregiver positions, providing more care to people around the world. Following the Kaizen principle of continuous improvement, we’re working to transform the healthcare industry and re-imagine how healthcare staffing works.
